About Us
At The Gentle Science Co, we’re a husband-and-wife team combining professional expertise with lived experience to offer thoughtful, science-backed, and compassionate support for people living with chronic illness, pain, fatigue, and mental health challenges.
Chloe is the clinician behind all sessions, programs, and courses. She is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and Accredited Exercise Scientist with over 12 years of experience spanning clinical care, digital health, injury prevention, and advocacy. She holds a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science, Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation), Bachelor of Psychology, and is completing a Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced), and is also trained in trauma-informed yoga, 200-hour yoga teacher training, and holds a Diploma of Football Medicine (FIFA).
Chloe’s background includes hospital-based rehabilitation, mental health, and palliative care, as well as private practice work with complex and compensable clients. Since 2018, she has run her own private practice and consulted in-house for leading orthopedic surgeons, in digital health for physical therapies, mental health coaching and crisis support. Chloe currently also leads health innovation projects focused on injury prevention and workplace mental health. As a lived experience advocate for Crohn’s & Colitis Australia, Lifeline, and Beyond Blue, she brings not only clinical knowledge but deep personal insight to the way she supports clients.
Mitch manages operations and business development for The Gentle Science Co, working behind the scenes to ensure the systems, communications, and client experience run smoothly. He brings over 15 years of experience as a self-employed musician, 11 years customer service in the music industry, and a strong entrepreneurial background. Since 2019, Mitch has also worked as a mining operator and mines rescue first responder, fuelling his passion for supporting men's mental health and the wellbeing of shift workers. As Chloe’s support person and carer, he understands the unique challenges of living alongside chronic illness and helps shape the warm, inclusive, and grounded experience we aim to provide.
Together, we’re here to offer science-backed care grounded in lived experience, supporting real-life bodies and real-world challenges with evidence, empathy, and a whole-person approach.
